Purpose of The 2022 Annual Research and Policy Conference
The 2022 Annual Research and Policy Conference was intended to highlight some key research outputs from the Sudan SSP and other domestic and international researchers working on Food security and livelihood, agricultural production and trade, and development strategies and economic policies. This conference showcased policy priorities emanating from the Sudan SSP work during the first year of implementation as well as partner institutions and local researchers. The conference was intended to guide investment prioritization by development partners working on Sudan and also increase the visibility of IFPRI’s work to the broader policy and development community.
